Job Title: Surgical Technologist II (OR Tech 2)

General OR Mixed Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (Rotating Weekends)
General OR Nights: 3x12-hour shifts (Rotating Weekends)
Salary Range: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking experienced Surgical Technologists (Tier 2) to join our surgical services team. As a Tech 2, you will confidently handle most surgeries independently while collaborating with a highly skilled team using advanced surgical equipment. This role involves preparing surgical suites, assisting during operations, and maintaining a sterile environment for every patient.
Suite Preparation: Set up and maintain surgical suites with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment for smooth procedures.
Intraoperative Assistance: Scrub in to assist the surgical team, handle instruments, manage specimens, and anticipate the surgeon’s needs.
Patient Care Support: Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping, prioritizing safety, comfort, and privacy.
Vigilant Monitoring: Monitor patients and surgical equipment during procedures, responding promptly to any concerns.
Sterile Maintenance: Uphold strict sterile techniques and ensure efficient room turnover for a high-performing team environment.
Experience: Minimum 1+ year of OR Tech experience required.
Technical Competency: Competent to perform as first scrub in at least three of these four specialty areas: Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, and Vascular Surgery.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT).
Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
BLS: Required upon hire.
Location Requirement: Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility for call responses.
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 for Tech 2.
Shift Differentials: $3.00/hr for Nights and Weekends.
On-Call Pay: $3.00/hr.
Leadership Skills: Candidates with strong organizational skills, efficiency with wire techniques, and a team-player mindset are highly valued.
