Job Title: Registered Nurse – PACU

Specialty: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Shift: Day Shift – 5x8 Hours (12:00 PM – 8:30 PM)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to provide Phase I and Phase II recovery care in a short-term acute care teaching hospital. The ideal candidate must be comfortable managing post-anesthesia patients across multiple surgical specialties.

Required Experience:

Minimum 1 year of PACU experience
Phase I PACU experience required
Phase II Recovery experience required
First-time travelers accepted

Surgical Experience Needed:

Endoscopy / Laparoscopic cases
General Surgery
Orthopedics
Ortho/Spine
Total Joint procedures

Call Requirements:

Total of 4 call shifts per month:
- 2 weekend call shifts
- 2 weeknight call shifts

Required Certifications:

BLS
ACLS
PALS
