Registered Nurse (RN) – Postpartum / Mother Baby
Location: Bronx, NY 10461
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks (No Extension)
Schedule: 3 Days/Week | 34.5 Hours/Week
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (11.5-Hour Shifts)
Pay Rate:
Local Pay: $2,380.50/Week
Travel Pay: $2,794/Week
A leading healthcare staffing organization is seeking an experienced Postpartum/Mother Baby Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-volume maternal-child unit in the Bronx, NY. This is a 14-week contract opportunity offering consistent day shifts and competitive weekly pay.
The RN will provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care, support clinical procedures, and ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Provide specialized postpartum and newborn nursing care
Perform comprehensive maternal assessments and deliver family-centered education
Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy
Assist with conscious sedation procedures as needed
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols and patient safety standards
Minimum 2+ years of Maternal & Child Health experience
Minimum 2+ years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
Minimum 2+ years of conscious sedation experience
ASN or ADN from an accredited nursing program
Active New York State RN License (NYSED verified)
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Strong communication skills and English proficiency
