Job Title: Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) – School Setting
Location: Lacey, WA 98516
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Billable Hours: 32–32.5 Hours per Week
Pay Rate: Up to $27/hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and dedicated Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) for a full-time, school-based contract position in Lacey, WA. This role provides 1:1 behavioral support to a high school student with significant behavioral needs, including aggression.
This opportunity is ideal for a confident, structured, and proactive CBT who thrives in educational environments and is skilled in managing complex behaviors while maintaining a safe and supportive learning setting.
Provide individualized 1:1 behavioral support within a high school setting
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA or appropriate clinical supervisor
Utilize effective de-escalation and behavior management strategies
Collect, track, and document behavioral data and student progress
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams
Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
Follow district policies and state educational guidelines
Active Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) Certification (Required)
Experience working with students exhibiting aggressive or high-intensity behaviors
Strong de-escalation and behavior management skills
Previous school-based experience preferred
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
Flexible and adaptable throughout the contract assignment
Strong communication and documentation skills
