A large acute care healthcare facility in the Bronx is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg ICU to provide high-quality critical care services in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary care teams.
Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
Minimum 2 years of experience administering and monitoring conscious sedation
Prior experience in Med/Surg ICU, PCU/Step-Down, MICU, or CCU strongly preferred
Required:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Active New York State RN License
NYSED Primary Source Verification
AHA BLS Certification
AHA ACLS Certification
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a Med/Surg ICU setting
Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products per clinical protocols
Perform phlebotomy and IV insertions with adherence to safety and infection control standards
Monitor and manage patients requiring conscious sedation
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
