Schedule: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Hours per Week
Compensation: $2,147.50 per Week (Travel Rate)


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and dependable Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-volume acute care setting. The therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary clinical teams.

This position requires flexibility to work every other weekend and holiday. No requested time off (RTO) will be accommodated during the assignment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate, manage, and monitor mechanical ventilation utilizing lung-protective strategies and therapist-driven protocols

  • Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, bedside spirometry, capnography, and sputum specimen collection

  • Administer and manage therapeutic gases including oxygen, Heliox, and high-flow oxygen systems

  • Provide non-invasive ventilation and airway clearance therapies

  • Assist with bronchoscopies, conscious sedation procedures, intubations, and tracheostomy changes

  • Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response Team activations

  • Provide respiratory monitoring during patient transport

  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds

  • Deliver neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, including support under Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) guidelines


Qualifications

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential

  • Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapy license

  • Current BLS certification

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

  • Minimum of one (1) year critical care experience preferred

  • Strong clinical assessment skills and professional bedside manner

  • Excellent communication skills and English proficiency required
