A large 558-bed acute care hospital located in Palm Beach County, Florida is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager to lead a Medical-Surgical Neuro unit. The facility is part of a multi-campus healthcare system and offers a wide range of advanced specialty services, including:

The RN Nurse Manager (Clinical Nurse Manager – CNM) for the Medical-Surgical Neuro unit provides 24/7 leadership and accountability for nursing operations within a 32–36 bed unit. This role oversees clinical operations, staffing, quality outcomes, and staff development while fostering a positive, supportive, and educational work environment.
The Nurse Manager reports directly to the Director of Nursing and collaborates closely with Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs) who support daily leadership responsibilities.
Provide 24/7 oversight and coordination of nursing services
Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing staff to promote professional growth
Foster a positive unit culture that supports education and collaboration
Manage staffing, scheduling, and personnel utilization
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Lead patient safety initiatives and continuous quality improvement efforts
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes
Active Florida RN license or recognized Compact RN license
Subject to Florida state licensing requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire if not active)
ACLS certification (required within 30 days of hire if not active)
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in an acute care setting
(Charge Nurse, Clinical Nurse Coordinator, or Nurse Manager)
Neuro nursing experience required
Unit Size: 32–36 beds
Reports to: Director of Nursing
Leadership support provided by Clinical Nurse Coordinators
