Seeking a New York State licensed Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment. The pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications and therapeutic devices, while also supporting pharmacy operations and collaborating with the clinical treatment team.
This is a state-run bid position. The bid process closes on 2/20. After submission, it may take 7–14 business days for the facility to determine interview selections.
Monday – Friday
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Prepare and dispense therapeutic devices, medications, and pharmaceutical preparations
Provide medication management services and patient education
Offer professional guidance on pharmacy policies, procedures, and related issues
Support the clinical treatment team with medication-related expertise
Assist with distributional pharmacy technician duties, including:
Operating an automatic repackaging machine
Medication cart filling
Ensure compliance with state regulations and pharmacy standards
Active New York State Pharmacist License (required)
Experience in inpatient or institutional pharmacy setting preferred
Strong knowledge of medication management and pharmacy operations
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
