Position Overview

Seeking experienced Emergency Department RNs for a night shift travel assignment. Candidates must have strong, current ED experience and be proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation.

Facility reserves the right to call off up to 3 shifts per contract.

Schedule Requirements

• 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• Minimal requested time off (7 days or fewer)

• Must be willing to float per manager discretion based on skillset

Required Qualifications

• Current New York State RN License (in hand)

• Minimum 5 years of current Emergency Department experience preferred

• BLS (required)

• PALS (required)

• NIH Stroke Certification (required)

• EPIC charting experience (required)

• Experience with Omnicell medication system (required)

• Telemetry skills required

Rhythm Interpretation Requirement

• Must be able to read and interpret cardiac rhythms

• Required to pass a hospital-proctored exam with:

  • Greater than 80% accuracy in rhythm identification

  • 100% accuracy in identifying critical rhythms

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS

• Triage experience

• Level I Trauma experience
