Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $55 – $61 per hour (Based on Experience)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking OB/GYN Sonographer for an exciting job in Southgate, KY.
Perform diagnostic obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations
Follow established imaging protocols and professional standards
Produce high-quality images and accurate diagnostic data using ultrasound equipment
Prepare patients and assist physicians during ultrasound-guided procedures
Obtain and verify patient history and supporting documentation prior to exams
Assess patient physical, psychosocial, and educational needs
Clearly explain procedures to patients, families, and clinical staff
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, order entry, and exam tracking in electronic systems
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection control, safety, and departmental policies
Maintain equipment, report maintenance needs, and ensure proper functionality
Participate in peer review, departmental meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
Support efficient workflow, including same-day add-ons and urgent scheduling as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Minimum 1 year of experience in high-risk or office-based OB/GYN ultrasound
Proficiency in real-time imaging techniques, including M-mode, pulse wave, and color Doppler
Strong knowledge of fetal anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, and medical terminology
Ability to communicate relevant technical findings to interpreting physicians
Experience with PACS and structured reporting systems
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Ultrasound or Allied Health
OR
Graduation from an accredited ultrasound training program
Completion of 30 ARDMS CEUs every 3 years
RDMS (OB/GYN) – Required
BLS (American Heart Association) – Required
