Job Title: EEG Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Duration: 13 Weeks (High possibility of extension)
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Every Other Weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Local Pay: $52 – $58/hour
Travel Pay: $70 – $75/hour
A leading healthcare facility in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Registered EEG Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment with strong extension potential. The EEG Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests that measure electrical activity in the brain to assist physicians in diagnosing neurological conditions.
Perform routine and continuous EEG recordings.
Prepare patients for procedures and explain testing processes.
Apply electrodes and ensure accurate data collection.
Monitor brain wave activity and identify abnormalities.
Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Collaborate with neurologists and healthcare teams.
Ensure proper documentation and equipment maintenance.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong computer, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T) – Required
BLS/CPR Certification – Required
Minimum 1 year of EEG experience.
Comfortable with travel and/or relocation (for travel candidates).
