A 60+ bed acute care hospital serving Seminole County and surrounding communities is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join its night shift team.
The hospital offers comprehensive healthcare services including ICU, emergency services, medical cardiology, telemetry, inpatient and outpatient surgery, and womenβs services including labor and delivery.
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care. This role includes patient assessment, therapeutic interventions, ventilator management, and emergency response support.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in critical care and comfortable working in fast-paced acute care environments.
Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments
Administer respiratory therapies and treatments
Assist with artificial airway management
Initiate, monitor, and manage mechanical ventilation
Respond to emergent respiratory situations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
Minimum 1 year of RRT experience (L&D or Critical Care preferred)
NBRC β Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy
Neonatal Resuscitation certification (within 6 months of hire)
BCLS and ACLS (within required timeframe)
PALS certification (within 6 months of hire)
CRT credential alone does NOT qualify
