The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a Labor & Delivery environment. This role supports physicians and interdisciplinary teams by assessing patient needs, implementing individualized care plans, and ensuring safe, evidence-based clinical practice across the continuum of maternal and newborn care.

Assess, plan, implement, and document nursing care based on individual patient needs.
Assist physicians with patient care and clinical decision-making.
Identify patient priorities through ongoing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Develop, coordinate, and manage individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.
Initiate assessments based on patient condition, physician diagnosis, and functional health frameworks.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care in accordance with standards of practice.
Document care accurately based on patient acuity, clinical priorities, and professional standards.
Advocate for evidence-based practice and support the adoption of innovations in care delivery.
Deliver patient-centered care aligned with the professional nursing practice model.
Float within the LDRP unit as needed, providing care in labor, postpartum, antepartum, and nursery settings.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
LDRP Unit (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)
Assignments may include labor, postpartum, antepartum, or nursery based on unit needs.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a related nursing specialty.

BLS (AHA)
New Jersey State Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact License

Advanced AWHONN or Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
Location: Neptune, NJ (07754)
Hours per Week: 36
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week
Every other weekend required
3 out of 6 holidays required
No on-call requirement
Float requirement: As needed within unit
