Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg ICU
Location: Bronx, NY 10467
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: 5 Days/Week | 40 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $60 – $64 per hour
Work Setting: Onsite
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong Medical/Surgical ICU experience for a 14-week contract assignment in Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in critical care environments and be comfortable working in high-acuity units.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg ICU setting
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy procedures
Assist with and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience
Experience in Med/Surg ICU, PCU/Step-Down, MICU, or CCU units
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Active New York State RN License
Primary Source Verification of RN License from NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
AHA BLS Certification
AHA ACLS Certification
