Seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to oversee nursing operations across multiple inpatient units during night shift. This leadership role is responsible for coordinating patient flow, supervising clinical care delivery, responding to emergencies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
The facility operates a 25-bed unit with an average daily census of 19 patients. The unit includes swing beds, detox services, and medical patients in a scattered-bed model.
Common diagnoses include:
Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
Pneumonia
Chest Pain (Observation/Rule-Out)
Syncope
Diverticulitis
Cellulitis
COPD
Alcohol Withdrawal (ETOH)
Opiate Withdrawal
General Debility
Provide administrative and clinical oversight of all nursing units during assigned shift
Supervise and support nursing staff across the organization
Manage patient throughput, admissions, transfers, and discharges (including AMA)
Coordinate transfers to higher levels of care when necessary
Lead Rapid Response and Code Management events
Oversee crisis intervention and patient safety initiatives
Monitor and report sentinel events
Manage facility/bed diversion status
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (DPH, TJC, OSHA, etc.)
Maintain infection control and isolation protocols
Support workplace safety initiatives
Oversee care for new admissions, post-procedure, and post-surgical patients
Promote high standards of customer service and professional communication
Active RN License
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Minimum 1 year of House Supervisor or RN Manager experience
Strong background in inpatient acute care
Experience with crisis management and emergency response
Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards
