Job Title: EEG Technician
Location: Syracuse, NY
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Schedule: 5 shifts per week (Every Other Weekend Required)
Pay Rate: Local: $55–$60/hour| Travel: $64–$68/hour (including stipends)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a EEG Technician for an exciting Travel job in Syracuse, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine EEG studies following ASET guidelines
• Conduct EEG testing for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Measure and apply electrodes accurately for all patient populations
• Enter raw data and prepare recordings for physician review
• Perform descriptive analysis of EEG waveforms and observed patterns
• Edit and review 24-hour EEG monitoring data
• Maintain EEG equipment and acquisition stations
• Report equipment malfunctions and document in logbook
• Provide patient and family education and support
• Adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.)
• Minimum 1 year of EEG experience
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Strong computer, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Must pass pre-employment health clearance
