Pay Rate: $38–$44/hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Telemetry Technician for an exciting Travel or Local job in Long Island City, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform continuous ECG monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
• Assess, identify, and respond to abnormal or life-threatening rhythms in real-time
• Initiate emergency codes or alerts in response to critical rhythm changes
• Manage and troubleshoot cardiac monitoring equipment safely and effectively
• Accurately document ECG readings, alarms, and relevant patient data
• Communicate patient status and monitoring results to nurses, physicians, and healthcare staff
• Enter orders into the system and retrieve lab results for charge nurse review
• Properly place electrodes for accurate ECG recordings across clinical settings

Required Education & Certifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – current (AHA or Red Cross)
• Dysrhythmia Course – current

Preferred Certifications

• EKG Certification
