Job Title: CT Technologist – Radiology / Cardiology

Location- Rochester, NY

Position Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans in both acute care and outpatient settings. This role supports a Stroke Center environment and participates in interventional CT procedures. The technologist must demonstrate strong clinical skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Schedule

• 4x10-hour shifts

• Tuesday–Friday

• 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• Must be willing to take call two weekends per month

• If a holiday falls on a scheduled workday, traveler is expected to work

Unit Overview

• Stroke Center

• Interventional CT procedures

• Adult acute care and outpatient population

• First-time travelers accepted

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience

• Experience in adult acute care

• Experience in outpatient imaging

• EPIC experience required

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Philips CT equipment

• Experience with interventional procedures including drains and biopsies

Required Certifications

• ARRT (R)

• BLS

• Active state license (must be in hand; pending license not accepted)

Equipment & Systems

• Philips CT scanners

• Medrad contrast injector

• PACS

• Experience with Siemens and Toshiba systems preferred

Clinical Skills Required

• Abdomen (with/without contrast)

• Pelvis (with/without contrast)

• Chest (with/without contrast)

• Head (with/without contrast)

• Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar imaging

• Musculoskeletal trauma

• Preparation and administration of contrast media

• Starting peripheral IVs

• Isolation precautions and PPE compliance
