Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a school-based assignment during the 2025–2026 school year. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students with behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as directed by the supervising BCBA

• Provide one-on-one and small group behavioral support to students

• Collect and document behavioral data accurately and consistently

• Support students with skill acquisition, emotional regulation, and positive behavior development

• Assist with classroom transitions and daily routines

• Apply CPI techniques to manage and de-escalate behavioral situations safely

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and support teams

• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

• Adhere to all school policies, confidentiality standards, and ethical guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active RBT Certification (must be in hand)

• Minimum 1 year of school-based experience as an RBT or similar behavioral role

• CPI Certification (required)

• Ability to work effectively with children in an educational environment

• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
