Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts
Hours: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Rotation: 7 days on / 7 days off
Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
Block Scheduling: Not permitted
We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to support a community hospital clinical laboratory on a night shift assignment. This role requires a strong generalist background with hands-on experience across hematology, chemistry, and blood bank (tube method). Candidates must be comfortable working independently during overnight hours in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Note: This unit does not accept first-time travelers.
Perform generalist laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, and blood bank
Conduct specimen analysis, result validation, and quality control procedures
Operate and troubleshoot automated laboratory instruments
Perform blood bank testing including crossmatching, antibody identification, and antigen typing
Maintain compliance with laboratory safety standards, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements
Accurately document results and communicate critical values as required
ASCP – MLT or ASCP – MLS (Required)
Minimum 3 years of recent Medical Laboratory Technician experience
Community hospital clinical laboratory experience – Required
First-time travelers will not be considered
