Pay Rate: $77–$87/hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support daily operations within a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine Laboratory. The technologist will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures, ensuring equipment functionality, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with professional standards and departmental protocols.
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine laboratory equipment
Perform nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures per physician orders and established protocols
Conduct routine quality control testing to ensure optimal equipment performance
Educate patients and families on procedures, preparation, and radiation safety
Prepare, administer, and monitor radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with regulatory guidelines
Ensure adherence to radiation safety, infection control, and departmental policies
Accurately document procedures, patient data, and technical findings
Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine
Post-secondary certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required
New York State Radiologic Technologist License (NYS Department of Health)
BCLS certification required
