Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 42.5 hours
Pay Rate: $18–$21 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and dependable Medical Assistant II to provide both clinical and administrative support in an outpatient or clinical setting. This role plays a vital part in daily clinic operations, supporting healthcare providers while ensuring a high-quality patient experience. The Medical Assistant II works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver efficient, safe, and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.
Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and clinical procedures
Prepare patients for visits by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
Perform basic clinical tasks such as injections, EKGs, specimen collection, and wound care (within scope of practice)
Administer medications and immunizations per provider orders and applicable guidelines
Prepare, clean, and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies
Accurately document patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)
Provide patient education and follow-up instructions as directed
Schedule appointments and assist with front-office or administrative duties as needed
Maintain infection control, safety, and compliance standards
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, providers, and staff
Support efficient clinic workflows in a high-volume environment
Education & Certification
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required or preferred
Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred or required per facility
Skills & Experience
Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting preferred
Knowledge of basic clinical procedures and patient care practices
Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Professional, reliable, and patient-centered approach
Experience in outpatient, primary care, or specialty clinic settings
Phlebotomy and EKG experience
Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical workflows
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced healthcare environment
