Night Shift Differential: +$3.00/hr

A leading acute-care hospital in Missouri is seeking a Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse to care for patients with cardiac and complex medical conditions. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to interpret ECGs, and rapid response to changes in patient condition.
The Cardiac Telemetry RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, supportive environment with strong leadership and opportunities for professional growth.
36-bed cardiac specialty unit
Nurse-to-patient ratio:
Days: 4–5:1
Nights: 5–6:1
Patient population includes:
Chest pain
Stroke
COPD
Post-operative patients
GI conditions
Accelerated heart rhythms
Patients on cardiac drips
Step-down unit from PCU
Level II Trauma Center environment
Supportive leadership, mentorship, and career development opportunities
Provide therapeutic and administrative nursing care to patients aged 16 and older
Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret ECGs
Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations
Deliver care in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and standards
Apply advanced knowledge of psychosocial, spiritual, pathophysiological, and therapeutic care
Identify risks and unsafe practices and take appropriate corrective actions
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of acute care Registered Nurse experience
Education:
Diploma, ADN, or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
Licensure:
Active Missouri RN license or multistate compact RN license
Certifications:
BLS (required upon hire)
ACLS (required within 1 year of hire)
