Technology Focus: Rubrik Cyber Data Protection on AWS

A large enterprise organization is seeking two Data Protection Solution Engineers (positioned as Backup Administrators) to support the deployment, integration, optimization, and operational readiness of Rubrik Cyber Data Protection on AWS.
These are hands-on implementation and operations roles, supporting cloud workload protection as part of a broader cyber resilience and ransomware recovery program. Candidates with strong fundamentals and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Resource 1: Backup Administrator with PPDM (PowerProtect Data Manager) exposure
Resource 2: Backup Administrator with Rubrik experience
Note: Junior or early-career candidates with the right technical foundation and learning mindset will be considered.
Deploy, configure, and optimize Rubrik clusters and Rubrik Security Cloud
Onboard AWS cloud workloads for continuous backup and monitoring
Configure replication, retention policies, anomaly detection, and ransomware scanning
Execute initial backups and validate outcomes using Rubrik dashboards
Support functional testing, recovery validation, and RTO/RPO alignment
Develop and maintain operational runbooks and recovery playbooks
Configure monitoring, alerting, webhooks, and service management integrations
Support operational readiness activities and knowledge transfer to internal teams
Hands-on experience with Rubrik Cyber Data Protection (cloud-focused preferred)
Experience deploying and supporting Rubrik in AWS environments
Knowledge of backup, restore, disaster recovery, and ransomware protection concepts
Experience onboarding and managing cloud workloads at scale
Comfortable working in regulated enterprise environments
Strong troubleshooting, validation, and operational support skills
Experience with PPDM (PowerProtect Data Manager)
Exposure to cyber resilience, zero-trust recovery, or security operations
Familiarity with enterprise monitoring or ITSM integrations
