Job Title: Retail Operations Accountant (Planview & Ariba)
Location: Remote
Duration: 4+ Months
The Retail Operations Accountant will focus exclusively on invoice reconciliation and related accounting activities. This role is responsible for reviewing contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), and IT-related invoices to ensure accurate coding and proper accounting treatment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Planview and Ariba, along with strong attention to detail to support accurate and timely invoice processing.
Review and reconcile IT invoices based on hours entered in a project portfolio management (PPM) tool (Planview)
Vouch labor invoices against timesheets to ensure compliance with accounting policies (capital vs. expense)
Review contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs) for relevant financial and contractual details
Create contracts or purchase requisitions in Ariba based on approved SOW information
Partner with vendors to monitor aging items and ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner
Collaborate with project management and cross-functional teams
Assist with internal and external audit requests
Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures
Work with business partners to obtain supporting documentation for accruals and accounting adjustments
