Pay & Incentives

  • Hourly Pay Range:

    • $27.72 – $33.00/hr (≈5 years experience)

    • $36.30/hr (≈10 years experience)

    • $39.60/hr (≈15 years experience)

  • Night Differential: +$4/hr

  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 – Days / $15,000 – Nights

  • Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case


Hospital Overview

A 220+ bed acute care hospital serving Bay County and surrounding communities for 40+ years is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical RN. The hospital is recognized for high-quality care, Joint Commission Top Performer on Key Quality Measures®, and accredited for stroke, wound care, cancer, and breast care. The facility includes the area’s only Pediatric ER, Pediatric ICU, NICU, and an Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI.


Position Summary

The RN provides direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical Unit, following hospital policies, procedures, and protocols. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care needs, collaborating with the healthcare team, and delivering safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for assigned patients

  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care

  • Provide patient education and discharge instructions

  • Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately

  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies

  • Uphold patient safety, quality standards, and infection control protocols


Required Qualifications

  • Current BLS Certification

  • Acute Care RN experience within the last 3 years (or within last 5 years with extensive RN experience)

  • Florida RN License and/or approved multistate RN license (compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license)

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and make decisive clinical judgments

  • Ability to lift/move patients or equipment up to 50 lbs

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 6:1 (occasionally 7:1)
