Pay & Incentives

  • Hourly Pay Range: $32.00 – $40.00 (≈10 years of experience)

  • Top of Range: $45.90/hr (17+ years of experience)

  • Shift Differentials:

    • Night: +$4.25/hr

    • Weekend: +$3/hr (Fri 11p–Sun 11p; must work ≥4 productive hours)

  • Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 – Days; $10,000 – Nights

  • Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case


Job Summary

A 220+ bed acute care hospital in Ocala, FL is seeking a skilled ER RN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department. This role supports patients ranging from minor injuries to critically ill conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and want to make an immediate impact.


Key Responsibilities

  • Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages

  • Develop individualized care plans with expected outcomes

  • Manage multiple patient cases simultaneously, prioritizing care needs

  • Provide follow-up care instructions and coordinate necessary referrals

  • Collaborate with physicians and hospital departments to ensure patient safety and high-quality care


Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of recent Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, or ED acute care experience

  • Florida RN License and/or approved multistate RN license (compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license)

  • RN Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing

  • Certifications (must be obtained within specific timeframes):

    • BLS within 30 days

    • ACLS within 90 days

    • PALS within 90 days

    • ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) within 6 months

    • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months
