Hourly Pay Range: $30.34 – $41.50 (based on experience)

A 380-bed acute-care hospital in Fort Pierce, FL is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care. This role is an integral part of the multidisciplinary care team and supports patients requiring diagnostic respiratory services, therapeutic interventions, and invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
The hospital is home to a leading cardiovascular institute on the Treasure Coast, offering advanced cardiac, surgical, and critical care services.
Perform and document comprehensive respiratory assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressures
Conduct diagnostic testing to evaluate respiratory status and therapy response
Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
Assist with placement and management of artificial airways
Initiate, monitor, and maintain invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation
Monitor patient responses and intervene appropriately in adverse events
Assist with transport of ventilator-dependent patients
Respond to emergency situations and support airway management during resuscitation
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/RCP) – State Licensed
Associate Degree – Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required within 30 days of hire
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required within 30 days of hire
