  • Days (Rotating Weekends)

  • Nights (Rotating Weekends)


Pay & Incentives

  • Hourly Pay Range: $30.60 – $45.90 (based on experience)

    • Midpoint: $38.25/hour (approximately 8 years of experience)

  • Shift Differentials:

    • Nights: +$4.25/hour

    • Weekends: +$3.00/hour

  • Sign-On Bonus:

    • $10,000 – Days

    • $15,000 – Nights

  • Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis


Job Summary

A large acute care hospital in Ocala, FL is seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced critical care environment. This facility is an ACS Level I Trauma Center and a Comprehensive Stroke Center, offering advanced care across trauma, cardiovascular, neurological, and surgical services.

The ICU RN is responsible for coordinating and delivering comprehensive nursing care in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional clinical outcomes and a positive patient experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients

  • Perform patient assessments, clinical interventions, and continuous monitoring as ordered

  • Accurately document patient care, medications, and patient responses in the medical record

  • Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care

  • Promote patient self-management through education on prevention and lifestyle modification

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care plans

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice standards

  • Advocate for patients, families, and caregivers while supporting organizational mission and values


Required Qualifications

  • Active Florida RN License or approved Multistate (Compact) RN License

    • Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation

  • 1+ year of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years

    • Higher-acuity experience preferred; strong Med/Surg candidates considered

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) – Required

  • Basic Life Support (BLS – AHA) – Required within 30 days of start

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required within 30 days of start

  • TNCC or CCRN (Adult) – Required within 1 year of start
