Job Type: Contract | Local Only

Assignment Details:

  • Shift: Day Shift – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  • Days per Week: 5

  • Weekly Hours: 40

  • Pay Rate: $61–$65 per hour

Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient oncology clinic. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive nursing care, performing assessments, administering treatments, and supporting clinic operations with minimal orientation and supervision.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care to patients in an outpatient oncology setting

  • Perform patient assessments and monitor responses to treatments

  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed

  • Accurately document patient care in EPIC or other electronic medical records

  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary care teams

  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols

  • Provide patient education and support for outpatient oncology care

  • Assist with clinic workflow, scheduling, and preparation of patient care materials

Required Qualifications:

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Current and active New York State RN license

  • BLS certification (current or eligible for recertification)

Experience:

  • Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the past 2 years)

  • Outpatient oncology experience preferred

  • Level 1 trauma hospital experience highly desired

  • Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred

Skills & Eligibility:

  • Strong clinical assessment and nursing judgment skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and follow clinical protocols
