Compensation & Incentives

  • Hourly Pay: $64.16 – $83.41 (based on experience)

  • Weekend Differential: $1.50/hr

Position Overview

A hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist – BMT/Oncology to support a comprehensive cancer care program. This role primarily supports an outpatient cancer clinic with rotation into the inpatient BMT/Oncology unit. The pharmacist will serve as a subject matter expert in transplant and cellular therapy, collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based oncology and transplant care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced clinical pharmacy support for hematology, oncology, and BMT patients

  • Coordinate and manage oncology regimens for autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation

  • Support CAR T-cell therapy and BiTE treatments

  • Perform therapeutic drug monitoring and comprehensive medication management

  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols, order sets, and treatment guidelines

  • Provide medication education and counseling to patients and caregivers

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary committees

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across inpatient and outpatient care settings

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required

  • Active Nevada Pharmacist license required

  • Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) required

  • One of the following required:

    • PGY2 Residency in Oncology and/or Bone Marrow Transplant OR

    • Five (5) or more years of clinical oncology practice experience

  • Experience working in a BMT/Oncology clinic with collaborative practice agreements

Experience

  • Strong oncology and bone marrow transplant clinical experience required

  • Expertise in transplant and cellular therapy regimens strongly preferred
