Job Title: Manager, Product Development (Program Lead)

Location: Boca Raton, FL
Duration: 5 months (with potential extension)


Role Overview

The Manager, Product Development (Program Lead) is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of products, solutions, and applications within a large-scale operational program. This role ensures that products meet business requirements, align with operational roadmaps, and are delivered with high quality, compliance, and customer focus.

The role serves as a key liaison between operations leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure timely delivery, continuous improvement, and adherence to governance standards.


Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development & Delivery

  • Manage research and development activities related to the design, enhancement, and qualification of program products and solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure fulfillment of product requirements and successful transition from development to production.

  • Support planning of delivery and deployment schedules for new releases, feature enhancements, and maintenance cycles.

  • Act as a technical consultant to operations teams, leading testing, evaluation, and adoption of emerging technologies.

  • Ensure product and technology specifications align with business objectives and operational needs.

  • Oversee end-to-end product delivery, managing schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies across development activities.


2. Operational Governance & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain a centralized inventory of program products, solutions, and applications.

  • Capture, track, and report initiative progress in accordance with established reporting standards.

  • Monitor inputs from business units to ensure solutions meet functional, operational, and performance requirements.

  • Identify improvement opportunities and lifecycle replacement needs; prepare summaries and documentation for leadership review.

  • Partner with Business Intelligence teams to design dashboards and reporting tools for program and performance monitoring.

  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are created, maintained, and governed, including lifecycle processes for updates and revisions.


3. Strategic Support & Continuity Operations

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of all operational aspects to support strategic decision-making and initiative implementation.

  • Provide support during emergency or high-impact operational events to ensure continuity of services.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support program objectives.


Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field

  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education


Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

    • Technology or product development

    • Product engineering

    • Operations or technology integration

    • Program or product lifecycle management
