Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join a patient-focused healthcare team in an acute care hospital setting. This role is responsible for diagnosing and managing movement dysfunction while enhancing patients’ physical and functional abilities. The Physical Therapist promotes optimal wellness, mobility, and quality of life through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

The position emphasizes personalized care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and adherence to established clinical, service, and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients to diagnose movement dysfunction and functional limitations

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore, maintain, and improve mobility and physical function

  • Promote injury prevention, wellness, and long-term functional independence

  • Provide therapeutic interventions for patients with conditions resulting from injury, illness, or disease

  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in patient medical records

  • Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of physical therapy equipment

  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals

  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies, service standards, and professional guidelines

  • Deliver patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy program – required

Experience

  • Prior experience within scope of physical therapy practice preferred

Licensure & Certifications

  • Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Montana – required

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required
