Job Title: Windchill PLM Consultant

Work Mode: Onsite required (Hybrid may be considered based on candidate preference)
Location: Memphis, TN 37501
Contract Duration: 11 Months


Role Overview

A leading organization is seeking a senior Windchill PLM Consultant with extensive experience in Windchill PLM implementations and large-scale engineering data migrations. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive end-to-end PLM solutions in a discrete manufacturing environment.

The position is primarily onsite in Memphis, TN, with potential flexibility for a hybrid arrangement depending on candidate qualifications and project needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead solution architecture, implementation, and optimization of Windchill PLM

  • Design and execute end-to-end data migrations from legacy systems to Windchill PLM

  • Map business and engineering requirements to Windchill PLM configurations and customizations

  • Configure and customize Windchill modules including:

    • PartLink

    • MPMLink

    • ProjectLink

  • Manage Part and Document Management, Part–Document alignment, and engineering design lifecycles

  • Define and implement change management processes and workflows within Windchill PLM

  • Extract engineering data from legacy systems, transform and validate data, and prepare it for loading into Windchill

  • Handle migration of complex engineering data including parts, 3D models, 2D drawings, and design variants

  • Apply industry best practices for representing engineering data within Windchill PLM

  • Lead and coordinate project activities with onsite and offshore teams

  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure timely delivery of milestones

  • Report project progress, risks, and status updates to the PMO organization

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and provide strong customer-facing communication


Required Skills & Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in Windchill PLM implementations

  • Proven expertise in Windchill PLM solution architecture

  • Extensive hands-on experience with:

    • Windchill Part & Document Management

    • Engineering design lifecycles

    • Change management and workflow configuration

  • Strong experience in engineering data migration from legacy systems to Windchill PLM

  • Successful delivery of multiple end-to-end PLM data migration projects

  • In-depth experience working within the discrete manufacturing industry

  • Strong understanding of engineering data structures and best practices

  • Proficiency with cloud and enterprise PLM environments

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer-handling skills

  • Proven ability to drive projects independently and lead cross-functional teams


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading global teams with offshore coordination

  • Prior role as a PLM Architect, Technical Lead, or Program Lead

  • Exposure to large-scale enterprise PLM transformation initiatives
