Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – ER Holding / Medical Telemetry to support a step-down medical telemetry unit. This role focuses on patients transitioning from higher acuity care and requires strong telemetry skills and emergency nursing experience.

Clinical Focus

ER Holding / Medical Telemetry
Step-down level of care from ICU
No ventilator or vasopressor support

Medication & Monitoring Experience

Continuous telemetry monitoring
Cardiac drips including:
- Heparin
- Cardizem
- Amiodarone
Sotolol initiation

Scheduling & Work Expectations

Night shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts
Floating within the hospital required based on skill set

Required Licensure & Certifications

Active Tennessee RN License
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (required)

Required Experience

ER Holding experience required
Minimum 1 year of EPIC charting experience
Strong telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
