Overview

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Child Support systems and financial operations expertise to support enhancements to an enterprise Child Support application. This role focuses on improving user experience, workflow efficiency, and financial processing functionality through analysis, design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and provide regular status updates to the assigned functional manager.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with functional leadership and business analysts to identify improvement opportunities within the Child Support application.

  • Analyze existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, pain points, and usability gaps.

  • Design optimized workflows aligned with business and financial requirements.

  • Propose and document enhancements for complex financial processes, including receipts, distributions, disbursements, recoupments, and reconciliations.

  • Design intuitive, self-guided user experiences such as:

    • Guided navigation

    • Step-by-step wizards

    • Tooltips and contextual help

    • Automated workflow guidance

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather and validate business requirements.

  • Partner with business analysts and QA teams to develop test scenarios and test cases.

  • Provide functional support during testing cycles.

  • Participate in regular functional review meetings to address user-reported issues, enhancements, and defect triage.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst

  • 5+ years of experience working with Child Support systems

  • 5+ years of experience supporting financial operations, including receipts, distribution, disbursements, recoupment, and reconciliation

  • 5+ years of experience in workflow design and system enhancement

  • 5+ years of experience conducting stakeholder interviews

  • 5+ years of experience with SQL querying

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Preference given to Finance or Information Technology degrees

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Microsoft Test Manager

  • Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments

  • Finance or IT educational background strongly preferred
