Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Adult Behavioral Health Emergency Services to support a fast-paced emergency care environment. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing acute behavioral health crises while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary clinical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult behavioral health patients in an emergency setting

  • Perform patient assessments, crisis interventions, and ongoing monitoring

  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols

  • Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health specialists, and emergency staff

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health nursing experience

  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience

Required Education & Certifications

  • Active New York State RN License

  • Primary Source Verification

  • AHA BLS Certification
