Project Specialist
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Model: Hybrid (2 Days Onsite / 3 Days Remote)
Duration: 13-week initial assignment; potential extension up to 6+ months
Pay Rate: $33/hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Specialist to support project management activities and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role involves coordinating tasks, tracking financial metrics, and assisting project managers with day-to-day project operations.
Provide ongoing support to project managers across multiple projects
Assist with tracking project timelines and deliverables
Identify risks or challenges impacting budget, scope, or schedule
Monitor invoices and billing for accuracy and timeliness
Prepare and distribute aging and financial reports
Support budget development and proposal preparation
Maintain project documentation, reports, and communications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment
Perform additional project-related tasks as needed
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to track budgets, invoices, and financial reports
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Experience in a project coordinator or project support role
Familiarity with project management processes and financial tracking tools
High School Diploma required
Associate’s degree or relevant coursework in Business, Project Management, or related field preferred
