We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced acute care environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to multitask under pressure, and a patient-centered approach to care. You will manage cases ranging from minor injuries to critically ill patients while working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages in an emergency care setting
Develop individualized plans of care based on patient condition and expected outcomes
Manage multiple patient cases simultaneously while continuously prioritizing care needs
Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute and emergent conditions
Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and hospital departments to ensure timely treatment
Deliver discharge instructions, education, and follow-up care recommendations
Maintain patient safety, quality standards, and accurate clinical documentation at all times
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ER RN experience (within the last year)
Strong ICU or PCU background may be considered
Active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license
Must be obtained prior to start date if relocating
Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to start date
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 90 days of hire
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 90 days of hire
