Position Type: Full-Time | Acute Care Hospital
A hospital in Central Florida is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced ICU environment and are committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Day Shift – Rotating weekends
Night Shift – Rotating weekends
Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients
Perform detailed patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Execute physician-ordered procedures, treatments, and continuous monitoring
Accurately document nursing care and patient responses in the medical record
Advocate for patients, families, and caregivers to ensure safe, ethical, and effective care
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Apply established nursing frameworks such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage
Support departmental quality initiatives and best practice standards
Minimum 1 year of recent Acute Care RN experience (ICU, PCU, or high-acuity setting preferred)
Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact RN license
Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred or required within a defined onboarding period
Associate Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)
