Job Title: Interventional Radiographer

Position Overview

A large, accredited hospital in Central Florida is seeking an Interventional Radiographer to join its Vascular & Interventional Radiology team. This role focuses on performing advanced interventional and neuro-imaging procedures in a fast-paced angiography environment, supporting critically ill to acutely ill patients across the adult to geriatric population.

Shift Details

  • Schedule: Days

  • Shifts: 4 days per week (days determined by hiring manager)

  • Hours: 10-hour shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

On-Call Requirement:

  • Weekdays: Monday–Friday | 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM

  • Weekends: Saturday–Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility to meet on-call response requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform vascular and interventional radiology procedures in an angiography suite

  • Support imaging procedures across multiple clinical areas, including:

    • Neurological

    • Thoracic

    • Abdominal

    • Genitourinary & Gastrointestinal (nonvascular)

    • Peripheral and venous access

  • Operate imaging equipment safely and accurately while adhering to departmental and hospital policies

  • Provide care to critically ill through acutely ill adult and geriatric patients

  • Demonstrate awareness of patient age, functional level, and clinical condition

  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards

Required Qualifications

  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist – required

  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT-R) – required

  • CV Registered preferred

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology (Special Procedures preferred)

  • 1 year of experience preferred (less experience considered with strong prior imaging background)

  • Experience in Interventional and Neuro Radiology strongly desired

  • BLS certification required within 30 days of start

  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of start
