Nights (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Medical-Surgical Orthopedic Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients. This role involves caring for ill, injured, and recovering patients while making independent clinical assessments and managing treatments autonomously. The RN will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based care.
Collect and document comprehensive patient assessment data.
Analyze assessment findings to determine nursing diagnoses or patient care needs.
Develop individualized plans of care with clearly defined expected outcomes.
Advocate for patients as an active member of the interdisciplinary care team.
Promote and maintain patient safety at all times.
Ensure effective and efficient use of time, supplies, and equipment.
Provide patient and family education regarding medications, procedures, and treatments.
Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and families throughout hospitalization.
Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience required
Acute care experience strongly preferred
LTAC experience will be considered
Active Florida RN license or approved multistate/compact RN license
Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within required timeframe
BLS certification required
ACLS preferred; required within 6 months of hire
BSN preferred
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5 – 1:6
