Schedule: Full-Time | Days or Nights | Rotating Weekends
Role Summary
Registered Nurse enrolled in an ICU Residency Program, transitioning from Medical-Surgical nursing to critical care practice. Gains hands-on experience managing high-acuity patients while strengthening assessment, monitoring, and emergency response skills.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to critically ill patients under preceptor guidance
Perform neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular assessments
Recognize early signs of patient deterioration and escalate appropriately
Support ventilator care and management of central and arterial lines
Collaborate with ICU leadership and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in ongoing ICU education and skills training
Certifications: Active RN License | BLS Required | ACLS Preferred/In Progress
