We are seeking a senior FCRM leader with strong expertise in AML policy governance, transaction monitoring (TM), product compliance, training, and executive reporting. This role will lead global initiatives focused on policy standardization, regulatory alignment, monitoring effectiveness, and enterprise-wide reporting, while partnering with operations, compliance, data, and training teams.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership experience across AML policies, sanctions screening, TM rule design, product lifecycle compliance, and regulatory issue management within fast-paced, regulated environments.
Research, draft, and maintain global AML and sanctions-related policies, procedures, and standards.
Translate policy requirements into operational plans and training frameworks to standardize execution across existing and new teams.
Maintain centralized policy repositories, manage updates, gather stakeholder feedback, and prepare governance reports.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including operations, training, compliance, and audit teams.
Provide subject matter expertise across sanctions screening (OFAC, UN, EU), PEP/RCA, adverse media, and identity verification.
Monitor and assess risks related to rapid customer profile changes, transaction velocity, and account behavior.
Oversee alert generation, escalation, and Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) preparation and documentation.
Lead the design, development, and optimization of TM rules, leveraging knowledge of ML/TF risks and typologies.
Partner with data science and analytics teams to enhance TM effectiveness using data-driven insights.
Ensure TM rules align with evolving regulatory expectations and organizational risk appetite.
Support product onboarding and lifecycle compliance, including regulatory reviews for new and existing products.
Oversee periodic and trigger-based KYC refresh, account exits, and offboarding activities.
Assess product risk profiles and ensure alignment with applicable regulatory obligations.
Perform qualitative reviews to confirm that controls and monitoring frameworks adequately address product-specific risks.
Report into senior leadership while leading cross-functional working groups.
Analyze regulatory issues, identify overlaps, and convert compliance strategies into clear execution plans.
Track program progress using KPIs, dashboards, and governance metrics.
Drive alignment across multiple workstreams and maintain centralized evidence repositories.
Deliver weekly executive summaries, daily status updates, and ad-hoc Financial Crime reporting.
Perform additional duties as required to support enterprise FCRM objectives.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
8–12+ years of experience in FCRM, with a focus on Training, Reporting, Governance, Issue Management, and AML Operations.
Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks, including FinCEN, FATF, and FCA.
Proven leadership experience in AML policy development, TM oversight, and regulatory remediation.
Ability to operate in high-pressure, fast-paced environments with competing priorities.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while driving collaboration across teams.
