Job Title: Monitor Technician
Location: Bronx, NY 10461
Assignment Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Pay Rate: $25 – $28 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Monitor Technician to provide continuous cardiac monitoring in an acute care environment. This role is responsible for accurately observing, interpreting, documenting, and reporting cardiac rhythms while supporting patient safety and collaborating closely with clinical staff.
Continuously monitor cardiac telemetry and observe patients for rhythm abnormalities
Accurately interpret and document EKG rhythm strips and waveforms
Promptly communicate abnormal cardiac rhythms to nursing or clinical staff
Perform and document vital signs as required
Maintain continuous patient observation to ensure safety and quality of care
Communicate clearly and professionally with the healthcare team
Adhere to hospital policies, including weekend and holiday coverage as needed
Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
Minimum 2 years of related healthcare experience
Proven experience with:
Vital signs monitoring
Reading and interpreting EKG rhythm strips
Continuous cardiac monitoring and documentation
High School Diploma or GED (required)
AHA BLS Certification (required)
EKG Certification (required)
