Schedule: Thursday – Saturday, 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 30 hours
Pay Rate: $30 to $33/hour

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide evening clinical care in a secure youth residential setting. The LPN will deliver direct patient care, administer medications, conduct health screenings, and monitor resident health under established nursing protocols. This role requires close collaboration with healthcare staff and strict adherence to professional nursing standards to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, assess, document, and report changes in resident health status and vital signs

  • Administer medications and observe for adverse reactions

  • Obtain and process blood, urine, and other specimen samples

  • Conduct intake health screenings for newly admitted residents

  • Provide routine, urgent, and emergency nursing care to residents and staff

  • Coordinate care and communicate treatment needs with the healthcare team

  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper inventory of medical supplies and equipment

  • Administer vaccinations and assist with annual TB testing

  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of facility healthcare operations

Required Qualifications

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice

  • Working knowledge of professional nursing practices and procedures

  • Ability to assess medical conditions and respond effectively to emergencies

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to make sound clinical decisions independently

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

  • Commitment to maintaining professional nursing standards and regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in correctional, juvenile, or secure healthcare settings

  • Familiarity with behavioral observation and patient progress monitoring
