Job Title: PCI SAQ A & SAQ B Compliance Resource

Duration: 3–4 Months (Start ASAP)

Location: Remote (Sacramento, CA preferred)

Position Overview

A leading organization is seeking an experienced PCI Compliance Resource to support the completion of PCI DSS Version 4 Self-Assessment Questionnaires (SAQ A and SAQ B). The organization processes over 1.7 million transactions annually and requires a skilled professional to perform annual compliance activities using prior-year evidence as reference.

This role will work under the guidance of an internal security assessor and will perform all work remotely. No client data will be stored locally by the contractor.

Scope of Work

• Complete PCI DSS Version 4 SAQ A and SAQ B assessments annually

• Review and leverage prior-year SAQ documentation and evidence

• Perform testing activities in alignment with PCI DSS requirements

• Provide accurate, error-free results to the internal security assessor

• Collaborate closely with internal security and IT teams

• Maintain strict confidentiality and data protection standards

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a PCI Professional (PCIP)

• Proven experience supporting PCI DSS compliance initiatives

Technical Requirements

• Strong ability to interpret PCI DSS requirements and control objectives

• Ability to perform and document testing efficiently (average 1–2 tests per day)

• Deliver high-quality, accurate compliance documentation

Required Certifications

• PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA)

Client Support Provided

• Remote access to required systems via Citrix

• On-site and administrative tasks handled by internal staff

Contractor Responsibilities

• Maintain own workstation and connectivity

• Required tools and access:

  • Windows operating system

  • Citrix client

  • Smartphone for authentication token

  • Reliable internet access

  • MS Teams and collaboration tools

Additional Notes

• All work performed remotely

• No storage of client data on contractor systems

• Assignment conducted under supervision of an internal security assessor
