Primary Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Rotational Shift: Occasionally 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Weekend Rotation: Required
We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technologist to support perioperative and procedural areas where general anesthesia is administered. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in acute cardiac and trauma cases, demonstrate expertise in anesthesia equipment, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Provide anesthesia support in all locations where general anesthesia is administered.
Perform operating room turnover and prepare anesthesia rooms for scheduled and emergent cases.
Set up and assist with invasive procedures, including:
Arterial line placement
Central venous catheter (CVC) placement
Thermodilution catheter placement
Troubleshoot and maintain anesthesia machines across multiple makes and models.
Prepare, handle, and assist with sterile trays using proper aseptic and sterile techniques.
Ensure compliance with infection control standards related to anesthesia equipment and supplies.
Assist anesthesia providers during acute cardiac and trauma cases.
Reprocess anesthesia equipment according to established protocols.
Order, stock, and maintain anesthesia supplies, carts, and work areas as directed.
Support anesthesia teams during on-call, weekend, and emergent coverage needs.
Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program
National ASATT Certification as an Anesthesia Technologist
Current CPR/BLS certification (required prior to start)
Strong knowledge of:
Reprocessing methods
Aseptic and sterile techniques
Infection prevention standards related to anesthesiology
Ability to successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
Minimum: 3 years of experience preferred as an Anesthesia Technologist
Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center strongly preferred
Consistent experience supporting acute cardiac cases highly preferred
Experience with invasive monitoring and high-acuity surgical environments
Proficiency in anesthesia machine setup and troubleshooting
Experience supporting invasive procedures
Strong understanding of anesthesia workflows and perioperative support
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
