Schedule: Full-Time | Mon–Fri | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $295,000 – $350,000 annually
A leading 371-bed healthcare campus in South Brooklyn is seeking an experienced Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join its executive leadership team. Reporting to the CEO and system Chief Nursing Executive, the CNO will oversee all nursing operations, clinical quality, education, and professional practice for a facility serving nearly one million residents with advanced surgical, emergency, and labor & delivery services.
Lead all facility-wide nursing operations and strategic initiatives
Drive clinical quality, patient experience, and performance improvement outcomes
Oversee nursing workforce recruitment, development, and retention
Partner effectively with labor unions and shared governance councils
Manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets
Ensure regulatory, accreditation, and nursing practice compliance
Active New York State RN license
Master’s degree in Nursing Administration or related field
Minimum 8 years of nursing experience; 6+ years in senior leadership
Prior CNO experience required, including Magnet designation success
Experience in unionized healthcare environments and large-scale change initiatives
$295K–$350K annual salary
