Location: Lake City, FL 32055
Schedule: Full-Time | 7 On / 7 Off (Nights)
Hours: Wednesday – Tuesday | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Position Type: Permanent

Compensation & Differentials

Hourly Pay (Based on Experience):

  • Minimum: $57.74/hr

  • Midpoint: $66.40/hr

  • Maximum: $73.04/hr

Shift Differentials:

  • Night Shift: +$7.50/hr

  • Weekend Shift: +$3.00/hr

Incentives

  • Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

  • Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to support acute and critical care services on a 7 on / 7 off night schedule. This role is integral to medication safety, clinical decision support, and interdisciplinary collaboration within a fast-paced inpatient environment.

This opportunity is open to both experienced hospital pharmacists and new graduates, provided an active Florida Pharmacist license is in place. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong clinical curiosity, comfort with evidence-based resources, and the ability to work independently during overnight operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and therapeutic intent

  • Adjust medication dosing and schedules based on patient-specific clinical factors and institutional protocols

  • Supervise and validate pharmacy technician workflow to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Prepare and verify sterile IV admixtures in compliance with USP 797 standards

  • Monitor controlled substances, reconcile narcotic inventories, and ensure DEA compliance

  • Support medication-use evaluations, clinical data analysis, and drug monograph development

  • Respond to provider consults and deliver timely, evidence-based drug information

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

  • Maintain a patient-centered, quiet healing environment during overnight hours

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy

  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD

  • Active Florida Pharmacist License (required at time of submission)

  • New graduates welcome (hospital experience or residency preferred, not required)

  • Strong knowledge of clinical reference tools and evidence-based resources

  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and manage competing priorities
